It was nearly the end of my last high school year, and I felt that I needed some involvement in society, especially in volunteering. Although everything was going as planned, I have a feeling of missing out on these types of activities. It was then that I came across the application to become a Young Eco Ambassador under the Climate Gen program.

What sparked my interest in the beginning of joining the Climate Gen Program was the novelty of working with different young people from different fields and backgrounds. Before then, most of my peers had the same interest as me, and they were of the same age and from the same school. Since then, I have learned a lot more about organizing campaigns and voluntary work. Additionally, I also got a lot better at soft skills such as non-violent communication, public speaking, and workshop hosting/training.

During this program, I have done and achieved a number things both personally and professionally. Personally, I did things like "camping", going to different places, eating new food, meeting new people, making new friends, trying things out of my comfort zone, and many more. Similarly, I also achieved a lot that contributed to my professional growth. I talked in front of several groups of more than 100 people, helped run a stand and hosted games at the RUPP charity event, met experts in diverse fields, contributed as a supporting figure, and many more along the lines.
