Growing up in Cambodia, I was always fascinated by how the media shaped opinions and inspired action. Witnessing the power of storytelling, both traditional and digital, led me to pursue a degree in media management. I've always been passionate about using the media to convey important messages, and climate change is a pressing issue that requires our attention.

Climate Gen's unique approach to youth empowerment, hands-on skill development, and focus on practical climate action appealed to me. I saw it as an opportunity to combine my passion for media and communication with my dedication to environmental sustainability.

The Climate Gen program and people taught me the value of collaboration and hope in the face of the climate crisis. Working with passionate youth, I discovered that collective action, even in small steps, can have a significant impact. The program instilled in me a sense of confidence and provided me with the tools necessary to make a difference.

Climate Gen has provided me experiences in achieving many activity such as:
- Inspiration to produce an environmental documentary film titled "Eco-anxiety" as my final school project.
- Created and implemented a social media strategy for the "ClimateX: Debate for the Planet" programme to increase its online visibility.
- Worked with team members to share educational materials and knowledge, empowering Cambodian youth to become climate-conscious.

Personally, I gained confidence in my communication and leadership skills, learned how to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, and expanded my knowledge of climate change issues.
